Close All Windows

What it does

• Closes container and machine windows together; fixed shop slots stay open.
• Padlocks protect selected windows from the close-all key and Esc.
• Optional settings extend the action to documents and other dismissible panels.

Install & start using it

1. Close the game and download the ZIP above.
2. In Steam: Library → Probably Stolen → Manage → Browse local files. Extract the mod folder into Mods; keep the folder structure.Mods/dbfoxtw.close-all-windows/manifest.xml
3. Enable the mod in the main-menu Mods screen, then restart the game.
4. Open several containers in your shop, then press Backspace.
5. Click a window’s padlock to keep it open. Change the key in Options → Key Binds.

Known limits & compatibility

• The narrowest windows cannot display a padlock. Storage Coordinator group actions can still close locked windows.
• Other mods that change title bars or Esc behavior may conflict. The old Demo package does not support the full release.

Update or remove

For manual updates, close the game and replace only Mods/dbfoxtw.close-all-windows with the new complete package. The author says settings are retained. Disable the mod in Mods and restart to stop using it.

Choose one installation method. A manual copy takes priority over the Workshop copy, so remove the manual mod folder when switching to Steam updates.
