Quick answer

Simplified Chinese is an officially listed game language. Korean is not in the eight-language Steam table checked for this guide; Korean Translation is available as a community mod. A Korean guide on this website does not imply official Korean game support.

Checked October 31, 2026. Translation-mod instructions come from the author; compatibility with every game patch has not been independently tested.

Which languages are officially listed?

The Steam table lists English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Japanese, German, French, Spanish (Spain) and Polish for interface text and subtitles. Use this table to distinguish built-in language support from a player-made translation.

For Chinese, look for 简体中文 in the game’s language selector. Start by trying the built-in option before adding a translation mod. The language selected for this website and the language selected inside the game are separate settings.

Finding the Korean translation

Search the Workshop for Korean Translation and open the author’s complete description. More than one translation can share a similar title, so compare the author, update notes and supported build rather than relying on the name alone.

Gangmin’s published instructions say to subscribe, enable Korean Translation in the main-menu Mods panel, restart the game, and select Korean from the main-menu language list. These are the author’s steps, not a guarantee that an older package works with the newest patch.

If text disappears or the mod stops working

The developer’s 1.0.0.6 announcement says the modding system changed and that some mods may require author updates. Check the current game build and the mod’s latest change notes before repeating the installation.

Troubleshoot one change at a time. Keep only one translation enabled while testing, restart after changing the enabled set, and compare the affected screen with the built-in English text. If only one note or dialogue is affected, report that exact screen and build to the author instead of assuming the entire save is broken.

Check the screens you actually need

A translated main menu is only the first check. Before a long session, inspect a familiar item description, a dialogue choice, a price field and any quest note you rely on. Keep names such as Evaporator or Serpico alongside the translated term when searching for help; community translations may choose different names.

Use the author’s linked page for installation and removal instructions. Our Workshop index helps locate entries, but its snapshot date and an author’s compatibility claims are separate from a test on your own game build.

Questions & answers

Do I need a MOD to play in Simplified Chinese?

The current Steam language table lists Simplified Chinese as built-in support. Try the game’s own language option first.

Does the Korean mod title mean it is official?

No. Gangmin explicitly describes this as an unofficial fan translation unrelated to the developer. Check the official Steam language table separately.
